Global campaign for Volkswagen and Disney.
I joined Versus team at the early stages of the project, right after the first styleframes and direction were set.

Initially working on lighting and look development to match the original concept, I moved to animation as soon as we got the green light on the look. Exploring different design and animation ideas, incorporating characters, and adapting the project to different formats were a lot of fun.

After the first campaign was finished and approved, we focused on reproducing the success for the new regions with new cars. I was fortunate to work on 5 different versions and 10 different cars.



Here you can see the early stages of lookdev and several options for laser animation. We were exploring a nightclub vibe, with lasers creating a playful atmosphere and supporting the main character’s movement.

Below are the first wips of car animation with a couple of Easter eggs and exaggerated car driveaway animation.


Final frames with postprocessing and confirmed look.


Below is the next round of cars. We had to setup and fine tune each one to work exactly the same with the current lighting and atmosphere and prepare a toolkit for client to switch cars if needed.
